Online Shopping

Guess all of you girls have online shopping experience right? It's basically impossible to have no experience (i guess) cause most of us get caught up on those website and couldn't control our little fingers to click on the purchase button. For myself, my first few experiences are horrible because what I saw from the website is totally different from what I get when the package is received. That feeling was, something like sending arrows (the ones with fire)  to your computer when you compare the screen's (which the models are wearing and smiling at you) to what you are getting. That's the rage ( i get kinda emotional sometimes) maybe the rest of you guys just sit there whining and cursing the website, I've been through that too.. I mean some of the online clothes or dresses are not cheap too, how can the difference be so huge (at least the price matches a bit with quality)?? Well, thanks to the photo editing software that makes everything looks good.

Okay, enough of the sharing. Let's go back to last Sunday. I was online surfing on facebook, twitter, instagram and you guys know how many annoying ads are there on facebook advertising online clothes, shoes or bags whatever. I saw one ad called "ZALORA" and the reason that i clicked in was because they were on sales ( sales is a big word with shining diamonds on it for all girls), I went into the dresses category and look through them ( I was thinking just looking and checking out swearing to myself I won't buy anything) but I was a little caught up in there because the dresses are pretty and some of the prices are quite reasonable after the discount (that's how girls convince themselves when they shouldn't buy anything). Discount sounds like a magic word and makes sense to everything. So, with so many choices I have to narrow them down to the last 4 dresses to choose. Thinking of the previous experience, I was in a little bit of dilemma. So I look at the materials, measurements and the price and you know what, it was a good bargain. At last, finally after a long debate in my head I've decided to buy two of them. Just two and no more, couldn't go crazy for the first time (Zalora is still a testing phase). Okay, Let me show you the pictures down there...

The colorful dress is a crochet lace material and the pink one is non-strechable poly-mix material. So far, the dresses does look like what's on Zalora website. There is link to Crochet Lace dress and Baroque Print dress for you guys to see and compare. Bear in mind that the colors may be little different from the website and my picture. I can assure it's same color and quality. I am a happy girl when the package arrived at Monday cause I bought it on Sunday, just one day of waiting! You guys know, the waiting, the curiosity on how the dresses looks like and will they fit?? These thought kills you. Zalora did a fairly good job on impressing me and the most important thing is they allow you to return the goods within 30 days provided that they are still in their original form. That's why i decided to give it a shot and here I am sharing my experience to you guys!

Plus, I wanna share few tips on how to online shopping (with my experience before and my friend's too cause we share what we bought online) that's why I kinda know what to avoid. First, I kinda focus on the material when it comes to online shopping. You can only see them, not touching the material and of course no trying. Keep in mind that pictures always lie! If you guys want something that is more thick and with better cutting, look for polyster or poly-mix material (always look for something that is thick) if it's a dress unless you go for the summer flowy casual dress. The quality won't go too wrong with these materials. I always avoid chiffon because it hardly gives you the nice cutting or shape and the material is flowy and thin. You don't want to buy a dress and wear them only, you want to look good on them too. Second, measurements are important too, measure yourself before considering clicking on the purchase button (don't go with 'i guess this will fit me'). Don't aim for the exact same size as the measurement state, aim for few inches or cm wider just for in'case. Bigger is always better than small sizes (well, we still want a chance to wear them right?). If the online stores have a return policy like Zalora of course it's good, if not you have to be SURE. Like sure sure. We all like to spend money on pretty things, things we like but always remember to spend them wisely. Make sure it's worth your money! Lastly if you guys wanna go visit the website go to Zalora, this one is for Malaysia ones but if you guys live outside Malaysia just google Zalora and see whether they ship to your country.

Disclaimer: I am not promoting for Zalora and sponsored by them.  I just share my experience and I bought the two dresses with my own money.

All the best!
