5 Summer Essentials

It's Summer already and we all know it's gonna be hot and wet and wild that's why it's important for us to get ready for it. I live in a country which is 24/7 summer and being annoyed by how hot is it all year long, these are the essentials that in my opinion is necessary for summer.

Always bring a pair of sunglasses with you around, sometimes the sun are so devious that it brightened us with powerful sun-rays which can damage our eyes and makes us dizzy. So, a pair of sunglasses is especially helpful when you are driving because of the sun's glare and also enhance safety driving. So get yourself a pair of sunglasses to wear on!

Oh we all know that how hot can a summer be and how we will be craving a can of ice cold soda. But instead of drinking these sugary piled and unhealthy drinks, make you own drink! Lemon water is the best during summer because it is refreshing and it can help cleansing your body, fitting you into those bikinies! Just juice a lemon into a jar of water and add some ice cubes and mint then viola!! Store them in the fridge so you can always enjoy ice cold lemonade when you are craving for soda.

Judging by how this little kid put on his sunscreen at the beach, you should be too. My third essential is SUNSCREEN. It's summer and everyone will be heading outdoors, i believe none will stay home during the summer, unless you are like me, afraid of the sun cause it's too hot to go outside (forgive me, I've been staying in summer for too long). Choose a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to avoid sunburn but for me at SPF 50 is a must if I am going to be outside for quite sometime cause you don't wanna look toasted after that. So pile the sunscreen up like how this boy does it!

If you are heading to the beach, you definitely need a hat(duh)! Some people thinks that wearing sunscreen is enough and a hat is just extra, you never notice that these summer hat can protect your hair from being over exposed to the sun (especially on the top of your head). Sometimes, over exposure does not only cause sunburn, you will have headache too!! I've tried before being exposed on the beach for few hours and ended up having headache at night (not fun at all). So, lesson learned and imma bring on my Summer hat when i'm heading to the beach.

You are probably wondering what's the last essentials here, it's not Blake Lively, it's the SCARF that she's wearing. A scarf? Really? Yes! If you have long hair like I do, don't you think that it's annoying and sticky and make you feel more hot during those days when it's especially hot?? Instead of tying them up with a rubber band, try a scarf. You can tie it up on your hair like a hair band or bring your hair up to a bun and style them with a scarf. Not only it does secure your hair away from your face, they also look cute (see how Blake looks so nice with a scarfed hairstyles) and youthful. So, throw in a scarf into your summer bag right now!

xoxo and enjoy your Summer

Pretty nails

Pretty nails without polish

Judging by the picture and title you guys already know what I'm going to share on this blog. It's all about NAILS. I personally thinks that if anything that you should be paying attention to, it's definitely your nails. WHY? Cause no matter how polished a person look, when people notice your chapped nail or uneven length of each nail or they are yellowish it's going to ruin a person's image. For me, even I don't have to paint my nails, but by trimming them to same length and shape, your nail can looks so tidy and clean. It's just that simple. When i was in high school,my school doesn't allow us to wear any nail polish, so i keep them clean and well trimmed all the time. My friends always says that I have really nice nails, like i've done them in nail parlour but to be honest i am just a teenager, how can i afford them??? But don't worry, we can do this ourselves girls, love your nails cause they make you look pretty. Let me show you how i do it.

STEPS To Pretty Nails

1  Trim your nail to the shape that you like, you can make it short or slightly longer.

2  Shape your nail with a nail filer.

3  Get a toothbrush or cotton bud to clean out any dirt under your nails. Lightly brush it or swipe underneath your nail forth and back to get rid of the dirty things.

4  Get a cotton with some nail polish remover to remove any remaining nail polish and dead skin on the nails. If you have nail polish on then remove it before you do step 1.

5  Soak your nails on some warm soap water for few minutes, have some patience, listen to music or watch the tv for awhile then wash it off. This will help to soften any dirt remaining under the nails that couldn't be cleaned just now and also remove the chemicals of nail polish remover.

6  Now that wash your hand thoroughly with soap and cleanse them with lukewarm water.

Now you have clean and tidy nails :)

It's not that hard right? Just spend some time and pamper your nails then they will look like you've been to a nail spa. Awesome right! While you can spend time painting your nails why not spend some time cleaning them? Let them breathe, don't always cover them up with colour and patterns, although it's pretty but they are not healthy and can really damage your nails. Sometimes, simple is beauty. You will be surprised if you really spend some time on the small details instead of buying products to beautify them which will cost you some dollars. Trust me on this!! I like keeping things simple. Life just become more easy and you can spend some of your free time doing other things. Of course if it's a special day or you have been working really hard lately and you really want to pamper yourself with some lavish treatment then i'd say go for it!
